Hide-Away charges a $59 delivery fee for local-area delivery. You also won't pay any other set-up or hidden administrative fees. Your re-delivery is FREE!

No way! We know it's hard to predict how long you'll need to store with us, so at Hide-Away, there are no long-term contracts to sign. Yes, Hide-Away can provide you with Moving Services. Our movers are full-time employees and are licensed and insured for moving within Florida . 11. Q: Where can you put the Mobile Storage containers? Where will they fit?

Because we use a small forklift to position our Mobile Storage boxes, we can put them wherever they will be most convenient for you to load or unload. Our Mobile boxes will fit anywhere that a car can fit, so they can be placed in a driveway or parking space (for businesses and apartment complexes). If the Mobile box will be located on your personal property, then it can be placed just about anywhere you desire. If you have a specific situation that you're concerned about, please call our customer service specialist to discuss the issue.

12. Q: What are the Mobile Storage boxes made out of?

Hide-Away's Mobile Storage boxes are constructed out of plywood and are pressure-treated on the bottom to protect your belongings from ground moisture or rainwater while the containers are on your property. The wood frame allows the Mobile boxes to "breathe" while they are stored in our air-conditioned and dehumidified warehouses (metal boxes can sweat with changes in humidity). When the Mobile Storage box is out of our warehouse for loading or unloading, it is covered with a heavy-duty, waterproof cover to protect your belongings.

13. Q: How can I protect my belongings from damage while the Mobile Storage container is being transported?

The best way to protect your belongings is to pack the contents of the Mobile Storage box as tightly as possible. Make sure to put the heaviest items on the bottom and fill in any empty spaces where contents might shift during transport. There are four tie-downs in the corners of the Mobile box to help you secure larger items. 14. Q: Can I keep the Mobile Storage containers on my property, instead of storing them at Hide-Away's Mobile Storage Facility?

Our Mobile Storage boxes are designed to be stored in a climate-controlled environment. In some locations, Hide-Away Storage also offers larger Mobile Storage "sheds," which are designed to be left on a customer's property. Please call your local Hide-Away office to inquire about these large Mobile Storage sheds if this would better fit your storage needs.

15. Q: How long do I have to load or unload my Mobile Storage containers?

We want you to enjoy the incredible convenience of Mobile Storage and load at your leisure. Therefore, we'll give you as much time as you need to load or unload your Mobile Storage boxes.

16. Q: Will my large household items fit in a Mobile Storage container?

Almost all household goods will fit into our Mobile Storage containers, including a king-size bed and baby-grand piano. Most large armoires or other tall items will fit into the Mobile box if laid on their side. The maximum length or height that will fit into the Mobile container is 7'8".

17. Q: Do I need to get my own lock and key?

Hide-Away will provide you with high-security locks and keys for your Mobile Storage boxes. For your security, we do not have or keep a copy of your keys, so please keep them in a safe place.

18. Q: Can I access my belongings while they are in storage?

Of course! You can access your Mobile Storage boxes anytime during normal business hours (usually 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday). Simply give us a call - we request a 24 hour notice - and we'll position your Mobile Storage containers in a convenient and safe place either inside our Mobile Storage facility or outside for easy access.

Absolutely! We'd love for you to visit any of our Mobile Storage facilities. Hide-Away Storage takes pride in the fact that our Mobile Storage facilities are clean, safe, and secure environments for our associates and for your belongings.

Yes, all of Hide-Away's Mobile Storage facilities are air-conditioned and dehumidified. The temperature is maintained at 80 degrees or lower, with humidity at 60% or lower.

Hide-Away's Mobile Storage facilities utilize state-of-the-art security systems. The Mobile Storage facilities are also equipped with high-pressure fire-suppression (sprinkler) systems.

22. Q: Can I be guaranteed of the delivery day and time that I want?

Our goal is to be able to fulfill all requests with a three-day notice, but we recommend that you call five to seven days in advance, as certain days are more popular and fill up more quickly than others. Although we cannot guarantee an exact delivery or pick-up time, we can guarantee a morning or afternoon appointment.

23. Q: Can I get insurance for my belongings?

While your belongings are in our Mobile Storage facility, Hide-Away automatically provides limited property protection of $1,000 per Mobile Storage box. Additional Hide-Away property protection of up to $5,000 per Mobile box can be obtained for an additional charge. (While the Mobile boxes are on your property, the contents are covered by your homeowner's insurance.)

Yes. Hide-Away offers a variety of boxes and packing supplies to help you move and protect your belongings. Please go to our packing supplies page to see what we offer.
