E-Waste Recycling Services

Hide-Away Storage has partnered with Florida E-Waste Recycling to offer convenient GreenSite™ Recycling Centers for collection of electronic (e-waste) materials. Our goal is to make recycling e-waste free and convenient to the local community by offering drop-off locations at four Hide-Away Storage facilities in southwest Florida.

By supporting GreenSite™ recycling locations, Hide-Away Storage is helping to protect the environment by recycling electronics and preventing e-waste from ending up in local landfills. There is no charge to drop off e-waste at the GreenSite™ recycling centers at select Hide-Away Storage locations in St. Petersburg, Ellenton, Sarasota, and Ft. Myers.

Following are the most commonly accepted e-waste items for recycling: Computer monitors, cell phones, hard drives, VCR’s, computers (CRT), laptops, cameras, pagers, telephones, cassette players, CD/DVD players, PDA wireless devices, toner cartridges, tape and zip drives, keyboards, servers, UPS power protection, computer mice, printers, photocopiers, fax machines, and stereo components.

We do not accept: televisions, paper, bottles, scrap metal or plastic.
