Self Storage Industry Launches Charitable Initiative By Partnering With Marine Toys For Tots

Hide-Away Storage Services, in partnership with the Florida Self Storage Association, a statewide organization for the self storage industry is working with Toys for Tots for the upcoming 2008 holiday season. Hide-Away Storage is a collection site for dropping off new toys to be distributed by the Marine Toys for Tots to needy children in the area for the holiday season. Toys can be donated during business hours of 9:30-6:00 at any of their 10 locations in St. Petersburg, Ellenton, Bradenton, Sarasota, Ft. Myers, and Naples. Toys for Tots has been collecting and delivering toys for children since 1947 when Major Bill Hendricks USMCR and a group of Marine Reservists collected and distributed 5000 toys to needy children. Now in its 61st year, the organization boasts almost 20 million toys delivered to close to 8 million children.

Hide-Away Storage Services has 10 large self-storage facilities on the West Coast of Florida in St. Petersburg, Ellenton, Bradenton, Sarasota, Ft. Myers and Naples. It also has two large mobile storage facilities to store its portable storage containers in Sarasota and Ft. Myers.
